Going to see Clerks 2 tonight. Should be fun and awkward.

Saw Punch Drunk Love today. I rather enjoy that movie. Sandler does a fairly decent job portraying a mildly psychotic character.

Fixed my A/C. Now it's nice and cool again.

Nothing terribly important. Maybe I'll think of something important and/or profound.

So, I feel sort of free. Liberated, anew, whatever.

I spent the day watching Fight Club and Clerks, talking to my friends, and eating gyro. A combination of the ideas, concepts and beliefs set before me and the realization I had. Maybe it's all just passing, but it's nice. I don't want to go into the realization since it's simplistic and just something I overlooked but.. Man. What a great feeling.

Release.

July 21st, the new Clerks film hits.

I love Clerks, and I'm hoping that Kevin Smith doesn't ruin it. I mean, christ, Jersey Girl?

But supposedly the movie was almost rated NC-17, but the MPAA decided to let it pass as R without any editing.

I haven't done anything with this summer. Haven't started on any of the schoolwork I need to get done, haven't been seeking employment as actively as I should be, haven't been looking into colleges, haven't made any plans to visit any colleges or go anywhere for that matter. I need to grab some motivation.

Ah well, at least I'm knitting and hanging out with my friends more. The two are exclusive, however. Maybe I'll travel down to Georgia sometime and crash at my friend Alex's place and check out schools there. And Canada.

Current Music - Imogen Heap - Have You Got It In You

I love House M.D.

The twists and turns. Most of the episodes, yes, follow a formula that you pick up on. And here's how you see it.
First, you have to make some expectations. These occaisions will be broken from time to time.

1) Everyone lies. Everyone. House, the patients, those who know the patient.
2) They're going to misdiagnose at first.
3) The patient is going to respond to treatment at first OR will not respond at all. Something horrible will then happen, such as paralysis of the lungs. Or anal bleeding.
4) Expect what's really wrong to be something wild. This can vary from something simple doing something wild(a tumour pumping out adrenaline), something simple that they have to jump through hoops to find(House knows there's a tick that's killing this girl who lacks an immunse system; he finally has to explore her vagina while on an elevator), or something fucking crazy(brass IUD inside of a nun who tried to give herself an abortion, but is alergic to brass).
5) House will discover what is really wrong within the last 10 minutes of the show.
*OPTIONAL*
6) House's clinic duties will expose something to him about the nature of those he's treating. Either personality, or their problem.

--

Tonight was a fine episode. Two female lovers, one who was unable to get any sleep that helped her body, or that she could remember. Turns out she had liver failure. Her lover decided that, since her blood type was a match, she would give her liver. Liver-failure girl was planning on leaving her partner. The girl knew it. The girl gave her liver anyway. Out of love. And to guilt.

--

Just about any episode will be hard pressed to beat last-last week's episode. Tick in the vag. Classic.
